Netherlands Playing 11 vs Afghanistan – ICC World Cup 2023, Match 34

Netherlands will take on Afghanistan in match 34 of ICC World Cup 2023 in Lucknow on November 3 in Lucknow. They are currently placed eighth on the points table and needs to win their next game to keep their semi-final hopes alive.

The Dutch beat Bangladesh in their previous match in Kolkata. The win came on the back of two consecutive losses. They defeated the Tigers by 87 runs to stay above Bangladesh and England on the points table.

The Netherlands have played nine ODIs against Afghanistan losing seven games and winning just two. They will have their task cut out against Afghanistan who are on the rise.

They have suffered heavy defeats in all the games they have lost so far. Therefore they will need a big win to move up the table. The Netherlands have never played Afghanistan in the World Cup and this is the very first meeting between the two sides.
